VIRTUAL FOUNTAIN ACADEMY PROGRAM

Fountain Academy, opened its door to Midwest area families in 2015, graduated totally 124 students (64 of them boarding ) in these 5 years. This year the very first time, while having 21 regular day time students from Chicago, it opens enrollment to out-of-state students due to the current pandemic situation.

Fountain Academy unleashes creativity, curiosity, skill, and talent in each and every student. With normal core classes such as English, math, science, and social studies, students learn the necessary materials.

Additional elective classes like art and gym allow students to discover new things and learn more about future opportunities. Most importantly, Fountain Academy offers religious classes, such as the Quran, Tafsir, Aqaid, in English in conformity with the conditions of the country we live in.

It truly helps students learn and develop new skills in many different areas. Fountain Academy offers a safe and comfortable area to study and learn while having fun.

2015 yılında Chicago'daki TASC binasında eğitime başlayan Fountain Academy programı, bu 5 yıl içerisinde Midwest bölgesinden 64 i yatılı olmak üzere toplam 124 öğrenci mezun etmiştir. Bu sene ilk defa 21 tane Chicago'dan gündüzlü öğrencinin yanında pandemi şartlarından dolayı şehirdışı online öğrenci de alacaktır.

Fountain Academy her çocuğun içindeki merak ve kabiliyeti ortaya çıkaran bir program olup, öğrenciler İngilizce, Fen Bilgisi, Sosyal Bilgiler ve Matemetik gibi normal temel dersler yanında gerekli dini dersleri de öğrenmektedir.

Resim ve Beden Eğitimi gibi ek seçmeli dersler de çocukların gelecek adına yeni şeyler keşfetmelerine fırsat tanımakta ve en önemlisi de Tefsir, Hadis gibi temel dini dersler bulunduğumuz ülkenin şartlarına uygun olarak ingilizce öğretilmektedir.

Fountain Academy öğrencilerin güvenli ve konforlu bir ortamda bir taraftan eğlenirken bir taraftan da bir çok alanda kendi bilgi ve becerilerini geliştirme imkanı sunmaktadır.

The Science Academy of Chicago (SAC) is a non-profit, nondenominational, independent day school for students’ preschool (three years of age) through eighth grade in Mount Prospect, IL. Our mission is to provide an accelerated STREAM (Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts and Math) focused private education while nurturing the student as a whole in a loving and caring environment.

SAC is recognized by the Illinois Board of Education (ISBE), a member of the Illinois Coalition of Nonpublic Schools, and affiliate member of the STEM Education Coalition. SAC is also a proud member of the Mount Prospect Chamber of Commerce.

7 periods a week; 3 groups depending on the math levels; Course-3 (McGrawHill-My Math), Algebra-1 or Geometry. Levels are determined by the state test (NWEA). Those with 250 or above in the Fall NWEA testing can take Algebra-1. Those who passed Algebra-1 in the 7th Grade can take Geometry.

Haftada 7 saat ders. Matemetik seviyesine göre 3 farklı grup; Course-3 , Algebra-1 veya Geometri. Seviyeler okul başladıktan sonra yapılacak merkezi test sonuçlarına göre belirlenecek; testte 250 veya üstü alanlar Algebra-1 alabilecek, 7.sınıfta Algebra-1 alanlar da Geometri dersi alabilecek.

7 periods a week;Pearson Literature Books are used in English Language Art

5 periods a week; NGSS StemScopes is used in Science classes. All students participate in IJAS science fair.

5 periods a week; myWorld curriculum is used in Social Studies classes.

1.Step - You will fill the pre-registration form by Jul.30th. We'll contact you and schedule an interview with your student.

2.Step - After your enrollment is confirmed, you will e-Sign the Tuition Contract and pay your tuition deposit of $500 by Aug.5th.

3.Step - You will fill up all enrollment forms by Aug.10th to complete your enrollment.

4.Step - We will mail all your textbooks by the first day of school.

1- Can my son/daughter take only Fountain classes without core subject classes?

No, this is a packet program with Fountain and Core Subject classes.

2- Can I pay the tuition monthly?

Yes, we can install your payments equally from August to May.

3- What if I withdraw my son/daughter from the program during the year?

The tuition deposit of $500 and fees are non-refundable. Otherwise, your tuition will be prorated and you will be refunded if paid.

4- Is there any discount if I pay in full?

Yes, if you pay your total in full by Aug.30th, you will have a $400 discount. You will pay $5,950, not $6,350.

5- Is there an attendance policy? What happens if my son/daughter misses some online classes?

SAC's attendance policy is applicable to the Virtual Fountain Program. There are some consequences for tardy and unexcused absent students.

6- We are in the Pacific Time Zone and unlikely to attend the first two periods. Is there any chance to make up these periods if we enroll in the program?

No, unfortunately, we cannot accommodate such requests. You need to promise to be ready for the 1st period at 6:20 PDT.
