Greetings Hopkins Elementary Families,

Welcome to the 2024-25 school year! We are thrilled to have you and your children be a part of our school community. This year, our theme is "Wild About Learning," and we are excited to embark on a journey of growth and discovery together.

Our primary goal is to provide quality, standard-based instruction that ensures your child's academic success. We believe in fostering a safe and inclusive environment where every student feels a sense of belonging. We want each child to embrace their uniqueness and shine in their own way.

We understand that your involvement and support are crucial in helping your child reach their fullest potential. Together, we can create a nurturing and empowering learning experience. We encourage you to actively participate in your child's education, attend parent-teacher conferences, and engage in open communication with the teachers and staff.

To keep you informed about the various events and important dates throughout the year, we will be sending out this monthly newsletter. We kindly ask that you carefully review the content and save the dates provided. The newsletter will serve as a valuable resource to keep you up to date with school activities, curriculum updates, and opportunities for parent involvement.

All SIC/PTO meetings are held on the last Wednesday of each month. The next meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 25, at 5:30 p.m. The location will be announced at a later date.

• Monday, August 19- I-Ready, Unique and KRA testing begins until September 13
  
• Monday, August 19- 3K & 4K full day

August 26-30, 2024

• Monday, August 26- myIGDIS Assessment beings for 4K students only until September 18
• Friday, August 30- College Colors Day
