Feb 14th marked the 1/2 way point of 3rd quarter. Please take some time to look at your child's grades using the parent portal. Praise them for successes and plan with them to finish the quarter successfully. This has been an "interrupted" quarter so far between snow days and illness. We will all work together to get assignments completed by the end of the quarter. The ICU list is long due to absences. Keep that in mind and remember, it is a to do list that we work on each day! Encourage your child to attend Wednesday tutoring, ask for extra help at school, and work at home when possible on missing work. Reach out to teachers with specific gradebook questions. Thanks!

As you know we have had FOUR snow/power outage days at Pleasant Hope Schools. Our next make-up snow days will be this MONDAY, Feb 24th.

We have already had one AMI day on February 12th. The kids did an AMAZING job with AMI 1 work. Over 90 % have completed the work, were counted as "present" and will receive an A for AMI 1 work in all Feb 12th classes.

The latest weather kept us away for an entire week! Your student should still have the PHMS AMI packet. They were all returned after grading. This packet and its work needs to be completed and returned to school following each AMI day. (UPDATE: Students are to complete the entire AMI packet this week and return it to school on MONDAY the 24th!)

A link to the work will be texted out with the school cancellation message and materials can be found on teacher classroom pages. Please be sure to keep these in a secure place at home in case we need to use them again.

These assignments will not require a device and must be turned in to be counted "present" for the day. All AMI work not completed will be placed on the ICU list. Email teachers or me if you have any questions regarding AMI work.

1. If you are not receiving emails/texts from the school, please call our office so we can update our records. (TeacherEase and ICU)
2. Be sure to call or email the office by 9:00 am when your student is absent. Attendance has been outstanding this year-keep it up!
3. Be sure to check lunch balances and send money to the office or pay online. Beginning on Wednesday, alternative lunches will be served to those who owe $18 or more. Need assistance?
