The school start and end times for the 2024-25 school year are as follows. Middle Schools (Grades 6-8) 7:25 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. (*7:15 a.m. breakfast begins) Ferguson Middle Cross Keys Middle STEAM Academy Middle Johnson-Wabash 6th Grade Center Restoration and Wellness Center 7:50 a.m. - 2:16 p.m.

School Uniforms for K-12th Grade for the 2024-25 School Year

All students in K-12th grade will wear school uniforms for the 2024-25 school year. The Ferguson-Florissant School District Board of Education approved gradually introducing a school uniform policy. For the 2024-25 school year, the uniform policy will extend to include all students from kindergarten through 12th grade.

From the Director's corner...

I am excited to introduce our new SPED Coordinator Tracy Cotter. Ms. Cotter comes with a wealth of knowledge and experience. Ms. Cotter will be supervising Robinwood, Parker Road, Lee-Hamilton, and Duchesne.

Spring break is just around the corner. Thankfully St. Louis offers many opportunities for families to get out and about together. Explore St. Louis has a robust directory of local museums and galleries. Get out and see what St. Louis has to offer.

Did you know that St. Louis County Parks and Recreation offers over 400 programs and events each year? From hiking and biking trails to ice rinks, pools and camps, they have something for everyone. Head over to their website and see what they have to offer your family.

Join SEF for Golf and Giving this October! The 22nd Annual Dan McLaughlin Charity Golf Tournament and Auction is back and better than ever! Set to return at the prestigious Norwood Hills Country Club on October 14th, 2024, this event promises a day filled with excitement, camaraderie, and the joy of giving back—all in support of the Special Education Foundation's mission to support students with disabilities in St. Louis County. Sponsorship and golf registration are now open as well as opportunities to volunteer. Come be a part of this great cause!

The Special Education Foundation helps support SSD teachers to implement their creative project ideas with our Classroom Innovation Grant program. We are excited to announce that we will be funding $65,000 for 89 teacher projects for the 2024-2025 school year. See the list of winners here.

Learn More about SEF's Kid-to-Camp Program

SEF’s Kid-to-Camp program provides financial assistance to families of children served by Special School District so they can attend camps. Funds are awarded based on financial need and student benefit. Learn more about SEF's camp options, including day and overnight camps for winter, spring, and summer breaks. Applications are accepted year-round. Apply early - some camps have limited open spots.

Community Outreach

Operation Food Search will provide free grab-and-go meals to children Monday-Friday (3:30 pm-4:30 pm) along with other resources at select St. Louis County Library locations during the school year. Stop by after school and pick up a shelf-stable meal to take home. Meals will be available free of charge for children ages 5-18.
