Here are this year's 3-5 Aumsville 2023 Salem Kids Relays Teams. They will be competing this Saturday at Willamette University Stadium against other schools from around the Salem area. Wish them luck!!

This week we had the Flight Crew Jump Rope Team come and perform some great jump rope routines with us. Some of our students and staff were invited to come up and join a few tricks.

They have great customer service and for every book sold they will plant a tree. As a bonus, shipping to school is free AND you can order books from past years. You also get to create 2 custom pages for free. This is a great way to include dance recitals, sporting events, or playdates with school friends in one place.

Please join us on Wednesday, June 14th for 5th grade promotion! Mrs. Landsiedel and Ms. Kornegay are beginning at 5:30 pm. Mrs. Farrens and Mr. Lowder are beginning at 6:30 pm. This will be held in the K-2 Cafeteria. Reception to follow in the 3-5 Gym.

Students, please arrive for your assigned time 20 minutes early in the B-Wing of the K-2 Building.

This time of year we have more field trips, class and school events that we love to have family volunteers for.

In order to volunteer please complete the required background check. Once approved it is good for two years. Link to application below.

If your child brings a cold lunch but wants a school milk, families do have to pay for that milk.

1. One option is to bring money with them to lunch and pay the lunch staff.

1. The other option is to create a Meal Time account.

You can create and use your My MealTime account. This is a fast and secure online service for making credit or debit card deposits and monitoring your student's lunch account.

Go to www.mymealtime.com

Step 1: Register, Click or tap the Register button and follow on screen prompts to create your My Mealtime account.

Step 2: Link Your Student. Click or tap the "Add Student" button, then find your student's school. Link them to your profile by using their student ID number that was provided by your student's school.

Step 3: Make a Deposit

Download the mobile app: Using your device's web browser and go to mymealtime.com. If you are on your mobile device, from the My MealTime sign-in screen, choose the appropriate button to download the app.

• If you need to walk into the school, please park in the parking lot and walk your child in.
  
• When dropping off your child at the curb, please drop and go. Do not stop and watch your child walk all the way to the door as this backs up traffic. The staff will make sure your child safely gets to where they need to go.
  
• Please keep the crosswalks clear.
