Madonna Catholic School News
December 13, 2024
Dear Madonna Families,
As we journey through the second week of Advent, we are reminded of the importance of preparation and anticipation for the joy of Christmas. Tonight, our school community is especially blessed to come together for a beautiful celebration of music and fellowship. Our school-wide music concert, featuring Advent music under the talented guidance of our Music Teacher, Mrs. Fortier, promises to inspire hearts and lift spirits.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the parents who have made the time to join us in this celebration. Your presence and support strengthen the bonds of our community and reflect the true spirit of Advent. Additionally, we are thankful for your contributions to our Grade 4 bake sale and your participation in our shared celebration of the Mass.
May this season of Advent continue to fill your hearts with peace and joy as we await the coming of Christ. Thank you for being part of this meaningful journey.

LEARNERS & LEARNING
Meet the Staff - Mrs. Bourassa
Mrs. Bourassa is our Cogito grade one teacher who has been teaching for thirteen years and with our school for the past two years. She is passionate about the Cogito program and is a great supporter of our new staff coming to this academy stream.
When she is away from school you could easily find her reading a novel from her favorite author, John Grisham, or she might be out in the outdoors enjoying a hike. Spending time with family and supporting her children who attend university keeps her very busy. Fun fact: Mrs. Bourassa attended kindergarten at Madonna when she was a child.
