WPS Equity Audit Survey
- Waltham Public Schools is conducting an audit to help develop a more comprehensive understanding of how our community is impacted by district practices, behaviors, and policies. An important part of this process includes your feedback. We are asking students (in grades 6-12), families, staff, and community organizations to complete a confidential and anonymous survey. This survey is offered in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Haitian Creole.
- The survey includes questions on a variety of topics, including instruction, resources, and community engagement. We estimate that it will take about 15-20 minutes to complete.
- If you have already participated in a focus group related to this audit in the last month – please disregard this email. The survey is designed to capture the voices of those who did not provide their input in a focus group.
- Your voice matters, so please take the time to complete the survey, which is linked below, by February 18. We ask that you do not forward this email or survey link to anyone outside of the Waltham Public Schools community.

From the Nurse
It seems the flu is affecting us here at Plympton. Use a reliable thermometer to check your child for fever. Refer to the following guide to know whether to send your child to school or not:
Normal temp = 96.5 - 98.6F
Temperatura normal - Estas sano!
You are good to go!
😀
Low grade temp = 99.0-99.9F
Temperatura baja - Tal vez necesitas quedarte en casa a descansar.
You may need to stay home to rest.
😑
High fever = 100.0-102.F
Fiebre - Te tienes que quedar en casa un dia mas hasta que tu temperatura este normal sin tomar ninguna medicina come tylenol, dayquil, or ibprofeno.
You must stay home one more day and have normal temperature without taking any tylenol, Dayquil, Ibuprofen products.
🤒
Always call with questions or concerns,
