Free School Supplies and Supply Lists
In the Medford School District, we know many families are experiencing some level of financial difficulty, making it challenging to purchase school supplies. We want to ease some of the costs associated with the rising prices in stores as you send your child back to school. That’s why we are providing school supplies for all elementary school students (and Ruch K-8) this year. Parents will not need to purchase items from their school’s supply list for any elementary school child.
Medford School District will purchase the items your child traditionally needs to bring to class. Those supplies will go straight to the classroom, ready for your child to use on the first day of school.
We ask that students come to school with a backpack for any materials that need to be brought home from school and a water bottle.
Families of middle and high school students will still need to purchase supplies this year. However, if you are not able to do so, please let your school know, and they will support you. You can find supply lists here.
Last Chance for Online Registration
All new MSD students must register online. Returning students will also need to verify information via our online portal. Click here to register or verify your information online. If you are having trouble, please contact your school when the offices open. Elementary offices open on Aug. 14th, and middle and high school offices open on Aug. 8th.
What To Know About Safety & Security: Reunification Process
Safety and security are shared values in the Medford School District. A variety of emergencies can require the controlled release of students through a reunification process, and it’s important to brush up on this information.
Reunification is an organized, controlled process that accurately reunites students with their parents or guardians. A well-planned reunification process increases safety and security through an orderly preplanned process.
What do you need to know?
The most helpful initial steps in a reunification situation are: Stay Home, Stay Informed, Be Ready.
Please review this important information on the reunification process and more on our safety and security procedures, visit our website.
