• Testing: Parents should bring their rising Kinder child to test on 8/26 & 8/27 from 9-1PM. This is NOT a drop off and go. Each test should take between 12-17 minutes.
• Rising Kinder students that participated in Kinder Bridge should NOT come in to test
• Rising Kinder Parent Night is scheduled for 8/27 at 6PM in the school Gym
• Rising Kinder student last names A-L will come in Wednesday, August 28 from 8:30-1:00PM
• Rising Kinder student last names M-Z will come in Thursday, August 29 from 8:30-1:00PM
• First Full day for ALL Kinder students: Friday, August 30--Regular school hours, 7:45-2:15

🔝Good times for sure....Our Dad community is working to organize an informal field day "drop in" event in hopes allowing Moms and Mother Figures to take some time for themselves. Our goal is to allow Elementary Aged students to drop in for some morning time fun & games. More details to come.

We continue to encourage families to bring in pre-packaged snacks for their child's class. Please note that any snack that is NOT pre-packaged will not be shared. While we do not celebrate birthdays during the school day, acknowledging students during snack time in a simple, meaningful way can ensure everyone feels included. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation with this expectation.

You DO NOT need to download the application to receive messages from the teacher or school. Messages will come in an SMS (Short Message Service) Text automatically--and to every family that has a phone registered or updated in PowerSchools. The application tends to work better for pictures and other application features.

PURPOSE: To raise funds for essential school needs, including additional supplies and materials (like copy paper!), technology safeguards, special projects, safety enhancements, staff celebrations, and the predictably unexpected expenses of running a large Durham elementary school. This is one of the schools ONLY big fundraiser for the year.
