The Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District hosted an open house and parent information session at the Universal Sports Institute — also known as USI — site at Parkview School on Sept. 6.
Seven PYLUSD Schools Earn Top Honors for Exemplary Positive Behavioral Programs for Students
Seven campuses in the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District have been honored by California PBIS for their outstanding implementation of the Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) program. Fairmont Elementary has achieved the highest distinction, earning the prestigious Platinum Recognition. Meanwhile, Brookhaven Elementary, Esperanza High School, Glenknoll Elementary, and Travis Ranch Middle School have received Gold Recognition, and El Dorado High School and Linda Vista Elementary have been awarded the Silver Recognition.
Ten PYLUSD Seniors named National Merit Scholarship Semifinalists
The Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District is proud to announce that 10 seniors have been identified as Semifinalists in the 2025 National Merit Scholarship Competition! This includes two students from Esperanza High, three students from Valencia High, and five students from Yorba Linda High.
