We are blessed to have our Sr. Pastor, Dr. Ron & 1st Lady Faye Godbolt and our Bishop,

Dr. John L. Godbolt and Elect Lady Vertell Godbolt, leading us through the Christian journey!

Our Senior Pastor, Dr. Ron Godbolt, preached a powerful sermon entitled "Fight Fire With Fire!" His main scripture for the topic was taken from 1 Kings 18:24: "And ye call on the name of your gods, and I will call on the name of the LORD: and the God that answereth by fire, let him be God. And all the people answered and said, It is well spoken."

His scripture references were: Exodus 7:12, Job 41:19-21, and John 8:32.

His lesson objectives were:

• Recognize that God's fire is supreme
  

• Understand that we must fight on another level

• Use God's fire

The Mature Singles came together to surprise Sis. Angela Carroway with a 60th birthday party. Needless to say, Angela was surprised. The event was epic and it brought her to tears with gratitude to see everyone.

On this past Saturday, we had an awesome time of fellowship as we partnered with Crystal Springs Church to feed and pray for the less fortunate in our community. You have a special invitation to join us next month.
