PHSFH Weekly Update

Hi all,

What a way to end the regular season.

JV: As a team, you all look unrecognizable in the BEST way from August. A lot of you came in maybe touching a stick once or twice and your game has massively improved. I’m so proud of how you all have improved and watching your games was truly so exciting. A huge part of the growth is due to Coach Makenna who has molded this group with her expertise and heart. Thank you to all the parents who came in blind to a new sport and filled the stands with positivity and coming down to learn about scorekeeping.

Varsity: Words don’t do it justice. Ending a season with the best record in program history (21-3-1) against some of the most challenging and best teams around San Diego County. The hard work you all put in is paying off and I believe this team can win it all if we keep the same heart you’ve all had this season. I won’t get into all your individual accomplishments just yet…as there’s still more to go!

We had our Halloween practice on Monday and Tuesday is off. You all looked fantastic and I enjoyed our last day of practice as a full team! Enjoy Halloween and be ready for practice Wednesday. I will update ASAP with the teams we are playing and other league news after the end of season meeting as regular play doesn’t officially conclude until 10/31. Once regular season concludes for every other team, power rankings will be finalized and we will know who we’re playing and where.

The two week schedule is down below as well as some great Halloween group costumes!

Monday, October 30th - Practice 4:30-6:30pm

LAST JV PRACTICE :(
Halloween themed! Show up in your best costumes. Group costumes are encouraged. Everyone *must* be in costume for a fun day of practice all together.

Tuesday, October 31st - No Practice, enjoy Halloween and stay safe

Wednesday, November 1st - Practice 6:30-8:30pm
