We are thrilled to share the exciting highlights from this year's summer camp program, Camp Connect, held at the Washington Street Community Center throughout the summer. This program was a tremendous success, thanks to the enthusiastic participation of 40 students from grades 1st to 5th, representing Newton County Schools and our staff and leadership team.
Camp Connect wasn't just a summer camp—it was a vibrant learning environment where academics and personal growth thrived. Each day began with exercise and a nutritious breakfast to energize our campers for the day ahead. Academic sessions were engaging and interactive, focusing on enhancing skills in ELA, reading, and math. Our dedicated instructors introduced innovative teaching tactics that made learning both effective and enjoyable.
