Our Paint Night that was scheduled for tonight was rescheduled to Friday, February 21 from 6:30-8:00. We hope that those who planned to attend this evening are able to still attend on the 21st.

We have seen an increase in both student and staff illnesses, and we are reaching out to you to help in preventing the spread of illness. This link was sent to you earlier in the school year, which provides guidance as to when to keep your child home and when children should return to school. Online registration for kindergarten for the 2025-2026 school year opened on Monday, February 3. Children who will be 5 years old by September 1, 2025 are eligible to register. Registration is online through the ParentVUE portal. For more information about eligibility and the registration process, visit the MCPS Kindergarten Enrollment website or contact our school office.

The 2025-2026 Change of School Assignment (COSA) transfer season opened on Monday, February 3, 2025. The COSA process allows families to submit a request for their children to transfer out of their assigned home school through the ParentVue portal in Synergy. All COSA request applications must be submitted no later than Tuesday, April 1, 2025. For detailed information, please click here.

The February Media Monthly has been updated to reflect the next series of lessons that all grade levels will have in support of the CKLA curriculum. Of course, we're also updating the Daily News, Music Cafe, and Book Club information! Please note that we've shifted the dates of some of our events. Here is the updated media events calendar as of today. We now have our March Book Madness bracket and we will publish it on Wednesday so our young readers can start reading the book selections.
