February Intersession and Feb 26 conferencing day
February 16 is a regular Friday. High school study hall will be available with Katie and teacher will be holding conferences.
There is no school February 19-23 for February Intercession break. February 26 there are no OCEAN classes for a conferencing day.
Cards a’ Poppin’ at Northwind Art!
Tuesday, February 20, 4:30 - 5:30, join Dana Sullivan and Patrick Ward in an exuberant and art-filled date for you and your child making pop-up cards! OCEAN schoolers: use code OCEAN at checkout to attend your first Art With Heart class for FREE!
The cost of the class covers one adult and one child (ages 6 - 17). Materials will be provided.

Free Breakfast M-F 8:25-8:45am
All OCEAN students have access to school breakfast at no cost. Starting Monday students can enter Blue Heron from the door next to Judd and Koyuki's room using a four digit door code.
Students will walk to the cafeteria, pick up a breakfast, and return to their classroom or the OCEAN tent to eat breakfast.
Students can ask a teacher or the OCEAN office for the door code.
Invention Convention takes place on March 26th at 5:30
Hello wonderful families! The Science Fair/Invention Convention takes place on March 26th at 5:30.
K-5 families check your kids backpacks for learning packets! Our K-5 learning focus is the Scientific Method and hands-on experiments. The Middle School students learning focus is on Inventions. Check your google classroom for more info!
6-8 Families students have begun their Invention Convention projects and more info is in Google Classroom
9-12 Families students will begin work in Science classrooms.

Monthly Meal for OCEAN Teachers & Staff
The OCEAN teachers and staff greatly appreciate support from those who are able to provide a nourishing meal or hearty snack 1 x month on their busy Friday conference days. They are often hustling between conferences and knowing there is a meal waiting in the office is an amazing gift to them.
