Happy Friday Wildcats
Welcome Back! This is our first Newsletter of the 2024/2025 school year! I am so excited for the start of this year. It is going to be the best year yet! The open house was AMAZING! Thank you to everyone who attended. Seeing all of our students and families back in the building was great. Thanks to our Amazing teachers for always making our classrooms so beautiful and welcoming. Thank you to our Plant Engineer (Ms Bree) Briana Tusek for getting our building ready, It looks incredible!
As we prepare for next week, I have some important information that I would like to share.
The Workman 2023/2024 back-to-school handbook contains essential info about Workman School that should be read before the first day.
We are Brave
This year, Workman Elementary School will be focusing on the theme “We are Brave.” To anchor our work, we will be reading the book Brave by Stacy McAnulty. This book will be coming home with your student sometime during the school year. It is the goal for each family to read the book and “make their mark” by writing a small note, quote, or idea about being brave and signing their names. More information will be provided by your student’s teacher when it is your family's turn with the book.
