It is that time of year. We are excited to welcome all our students on September 5th!

There will be more information shared with you in the coming days. For now, here are the basics.

• The first day of school is September 5th. Doors open at 8:15am and dismissal is 2:50pm.
• Teacher assignments will be made available on Powerschool SOON. I will let you know when they are available.
• Please look below for information on pick up and drop off.
• For all incoming Kindergarteners and other first time MW students we will be having a "Popsicles on the Playground" from 4:30-6pm on August 28th.
• Kindergarten Only - First Two Days: Thursday and Friday Sept. 5th. and 6th, Special Hours 9:00am to 12:30pm. Please fill out his Bus Request form, it is the same form as in the original email, please only fill it out once. Busses will run a regular pick up and drop off schedule for students in grades 1-5. The busses will also run the same route to pick up K students starting at 8:30am and will leave MW at 12:30 to begin returning the students home. Kindergarten students will receive their teacher assignment after the close of school on Friday.

Students should enter/exit the passenger side of the vehicle.

Do NOT pass another vehicle while near the crosswalk.

Adults should not exit their car while the car is in the traffic flow. (Only Park in designated spots)

Before the Bell runs Monday-Friday. Drop off is at 7:30 a.m. at the cafeteria door. Students participate in activities, have breakfast, and are dismissed to line up for the start of their school day.

Please have students wear appropriate shoes and clothing for physical fitness activities.

The YMCA offers a program at MW immediately after dismissal. For more information please contact the North Suburban YMCA at 781-935-3270

In order to volunteer to chaperone a field trip, help with a school event or even read in your child’s class you must apply for and pass a CORI. The process can take up to TWO weeks. If you are interested in being “CORIed” you may download and fill out the form in the banner below. Bring a government issued ID and the filled out form to school between 9am and 2pm. A staff member will then make a copy of you ID and submit your CORI application. (we also have copies of the form you can fill out at the school)
