From the Desk of Our Proud Principal

Greetings Trojan Family,

This is a message from your Proud Principal, Leslie Kinard.

Thank you for partnering with us to ensure we have a successful week each week here at FMS. Please continue to speak with your students about following school expectations and rules as we finish this final week before Winter break. We know students are getting excited about the holiday, but we want to maintain a positive and safe learning environment. Please make sure that your students attend school as long as they are not showing COVID-19 symptoms. Although if your student is feeling unwell, please keep them home and notify the school regarding your student's absence.

Social Media and Our School

Parents, we need your help. If you allow your student to have social media, please monitor their activity and accounts. Many of our young folks have not been making the best decisions on social media. Your help would greatly be appreciated.

Student Morning Drop-Off

6th and 7th-grade students will all be dropped off at Tower C (which is the entrance with the blue overhang). This will assist with traffic flow and make student drop-off safer for students and families.

Student Afternoon Early Release and Dismissal

Parents, please limit early dismissal pick-up at the end of the day, especially between 4:00 pm and 4:20 pm.

Also, all car riders will need to be picked up in the front circle moving forward. Students being picked up on Ferndale Blvd are safety hazards, and we want to make sure all of our students stay safe.

December to Remember

Please join us in making December a month to remember by having your students join us in our Spirit Days throughout the month! Monday students are wearing red and white or dressing like a candy cane.
