Please read this newsletter carefully for important athletics updates.

Senior Celebrations
Important Transportation Changes
- Drop-off and pick-up for away games will be at the main entrance in the front of the high school.
- Students and parents should park in the new parking lot on the left side of the building, not the gym parking lot.
- Students will not be allowed into the gym or locker room areas while basketball practices and games are going on.
- Students must bring all uniforms and equipment home with them and arrive to catch the bus ready for their game.
- Nichols Middle School buses will operate as usual with pick-up and drop-off at the NMS gym entrance.
Daily Reminders
General
- Wear a mask and bring extras in your bag.

Transportation
- Students on remote learning days must provide their own transportation to and from practices, home games and to school for away buses.
- Buses will be provided for all away contests.
- Students that have a late practice, bus or home game (after 3:00PM) are encouraged to take the bus or drive home after school and get a ride back. Students will not be permitted to wait in the building after school unless they are registered for strength & conditioning.
Locker Rooms and Restrooms
- Students using the locker room to change after school must bring all belongings with them. Lockers will not be issued and nothing can be left in the locker room.
- Students must arrive to practices and games "ready to play" in an effort to limit locker room use.
- Students traveling to "in person" school days with large equipment such as hockey bags will have a closet space for them to be stored in the locker rooms during the day and must take them home after school.
Strength & Conditioning
- All high school students that are registered for a winter or fall 2 sport will have the option to sign-up for strength & conditioning Monday-Friday from 2:00-3:30 PM in the MHS weight room. You must register for this program through FamilyID. If you have already paid a winter or fall 2 user fee there is no additional fee.
- Students that are not registered for a winter or fall 2 sport and wish to participate in strength & conditioning may register on FamilyID and pay the $25 fee.
- This program will allow for supervision in the gym/weight room after school STARTING JANUARY 11th. If a student is not registered for this program they will need to go home between school and practice/home games starting after 3:00PM.
