High AIMS June Update
June 2024. Tom Burton & Dr. Mari Phillips
A Message from Executive Director, Tom Burton
Hello High AIMS Community,
As summer greets us with its warmth and beauty, it beckons us to relax and rejuvenate. This season isn't just about taking a break; it also presents a fantastic opportunity to learn and grow.
During these sunny months, I encourage you to embrace the leisure that summer offers while also dedicating some time to activities that enrich your mind and spirit. Let's use this time wisely to refresh and expand our horizons.
Consider diving into a captivating book that you've been meaning to read—one that not only entertains but also enlightens. Books have a unique way of transporting us to new worlds and igniting our imagination. Likewise, engaging with thought-provoking podcasts can be a great way to learn on the go, offering fresh perspectives and new ideas that can be incredibly inspiring.
In addition to reading and listening, take some time to explore a topic you've always been curious about. Conduct some research, satisfy your curiosity, and perhaps even find a new passion. Whether it's a professional interest or a personal hobby, deepening your knowledge in a particular area can be extremely fulfilling.
Summer truly offers a unique blend of relaxation and exploration. It’s a time to pause, reflect, and seek out new experiences and knowledge. Embrace it fully, allowing your mind and body to refresh while also laying the foundation for personal and professional growth.
Thank you for being a part of the High AIMS Community. We value each one of you and are excited to see how you will use this summer to further develop and thrive.
Warm regards,
Tom Burton
Executive Director
