Dear Parents and Guardians,
As we approach the end of the school year, we want to inform you about the upcoming End-of-Grade (EOG) tests and the associated re-administration dates. These assessment's are critical in evaluating your child's progress and ensuring they meet academic standards:
EOG Test Dates:

The purpose of the re-administration opportunity is to provide students with additional targeted support(remediation) to help them achieve mastery of content before progressing to the next grade level and/or subject.

Seeking NBMS Parent input for Next Years Title 1 Budget
New Bridge Core Values
1. We value good communication between home and school.
2. We value high expectations for our students.
3. We value building strong relationships with our families and students to increase trust.
4. We value our teachers having clear objectives and learning targets for our students.
To support these values, we like to check-in with our families through surveys. Feedback from our families allows us to identify, reflect, celebrate and improve in areas of both strengths and weaknesses. Your feedback will be utilized to create programming and budget consideration for next school year. We appreciate you taking the time to give us the needed input to continue to promote our vision of Excellence in Education.
Our 24-25 Title 1 Budget included funding for new technology for classroom instruction, computer software and instructional supplies, smart boards and instructional support staff (Title 1 Instructional Coach and Title 1 Tutor) to enhance programming and support of our students this school year.
Take the Fourth STEM Family Challenge!
Build a Helping Hand - Engineering Challenge
Think about the challenge
- What is the difference between grabbing and scooping?
- What kind of motion do you use to grab or squeeze something?
- How long will you make the arms on your grabber?
- How does the design of your hand help you grip things?
- TIP: Grabbing and scooping are different motions. When you grab something, you get only one or two things at a time and handle them with more control. When you scoop something, you get a lot of something all at once and lift the items up as a group.
- TIP: When you grip something with your hand, your thumb and fingers act like two sides to hold the object in place. The muscles in your fingers can apply a pinching pressure.
APEX Schoolwide Fundraising is coming Next Week!
Dear Families,
On Tuesday, May 6th, we will be kicking off our Color Games Fundraiser with an awesome Pep Rally.
This is an incredibly fun event students can participate in on Friday, May 16th. Students can earn color powder packets to be thrown and launched in the air in some fun games. It’s awesome!
For the next 2-weeks students will be encouraged to get donations from family and friends to help their school. Each student will receive an access code for our website (myapexevent.com) which can track all pledges they receive.
A minimum of $30 is needed to participate in the event.
This is our only major Fundraiser, and we are raising funds for New Gym Scoreboards, Additional equipment for our new STEM Engineering Lab, Teacher & Staff Appreciation, Continued Advocacy to New Bridge Families and so much more!
On Tuesday, May 6th we will launch the fundraiser with a pep rally in the gym for all students. During the pep rally, we will show students how to use the fundraising website by suggesting they pull out their cell phones / lap tops to log in to their unique donation page at myapexevent.com and share a link to their donation page with potential sponsors including family and friends. Students will be able to share a link to their donation page via email, text, Facebook and Twitter. The purpose of this is to demo the site so students understand how to use it, as well as to kick off the fundraiser for students/families who wish to participate. If you would prefer that your child not participate in the share challenge portion of the pep rally, that's ok, please just advise your child not to use their cell phone at the pep rally.
** To Prepare for Tuesday’s Kickoff **
In preparation for this Kickoff, we will ask students to come to the pep rally with at least 10 - 20 emails / phone numbers of family and friends (potential sponsors). Please help your students gather at least 10 - 20 emails / phone numbers of family and friends. You can email them this list so they can open it on their phone to use at the pep rally. This step is extremely crucial to the successful launch of our fundraiser.
Thank you for your continued support!
