We Are Lucky To Be A Wildcat!
From The Principal's Desk
Another month has passed with some exciting events on the Wildcat campus. We have been busy this month sharing the love of February and keeping our 8th grade class busy. The 8th grade class held their annual Pie in the Face Assembly and the whole school joined in to help raise money for their 8th grade trip and share an afternoon of laughs. Valentine grams were sold and passed around campus and the day of Valentine's Day was a fun filled day of love and treats for all.
We are looking forward to March and will celebrate Read Across America week the first week of March. There will be a school-wide weeklong reading challenge and the class who reads the most the first week of March will get a special Dr. Seuss treat at the end of the week. We have fun filled Dr. Seuss activities planned throughout the week and will end on Friday, March 7th with a school wide hour-long reading celebration.
Our reading challenge is still well underway and students are making great progress towards getting to cover me in silly string at the end of the year. As of February 28th students have read----- million words. We hope you can join us on March 27th for Wacky Science Family Night- it's a great day to be a Wildcat!
