Building a Partnership
Expectations
~As we near the middle of the year it is a good time to stop and remind students of expectations. We ask that you do the same at home for us. Please reiterate proper use of cell phones at school, respect to all staff and the facilities, and responsibility with school work and their social life.
Engagement and Deeper Learning
~We at EHS have been focusing on student engagement and true deeper learning. This asks students to be more involved and reflective in their own learning so they are more prepared for life after high school. Some ways to help students navigate this and be more resilient is by normalizing struggle, promoting a growth mindset, and praising effort.
"Teacher of the Month"
~EHS teachers have been nominating students each month for our new "Student of the Month" award. This month we have decided to introduce "Teacher of the Month" for students to return the favor. Students can scan a QR codes posted around the building which will lead to this form to nominate teachers. This is a great way to foster a culture of recognition, kindness, and community for both our students and teachers.
