Good Afternoon RPI Families,

Below, you will find a number of sections that contain IMPORTANT BACK TO SCHOOL information. Please take time to read these sections carefully.

• Tuesday/Thursday -- Students with the last name starting with the letter A-K will come to school on these days.
• Wednesday/Friday -- Students with the last name starting with the letter L-Z will come to school on these days.
• Students will meet their teacher OUTSIDE for the first week at their designated location. Click Here for the map that shows the locations.
• You will also be able to pick up food at the high school on Wednesday, September 9, from 2-3pm for the days you aren't in school!!

All students who are dropped off at school need to follow these guidelines for a safe start and end of the day:

• Students need to be dropped off in the Getty Street Parking Lot.
• Students need to exit the vehicle on the passenger side ONLY when the car is located near a side walk.
• DO NOT drop your student off and ask them to walk in front of another car. THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS.

The start and end of the day are likely going to be congested and some people may be less than patient. Please treat each other with grace, patience and understanding. If we all do this, OUR KIDS will remain safe and see a great example of how to react during stressful times.

CLICK HERE to watch our drop off safety video! If you don't...someone is likely saying this about you! (Insert smiley face here!) All kidding aside, PLEASE be cautious and patient with those who don't follow this expectation...because it will happen!

• Doors will open for the day at 7:35 am. Please do NOT drop your student off prior to 7:25 am.
• Doors will lock for the day at 1:20 pm. Students will not be allowed in the building after this time.

Great News! All students can receive free breakfast and lunch from the start of school until further notice. Important details:

• Fill out your Free/Reduced Application. CLICK HERE. Even if you think you don't qualify, the rules have changed and other IMPORTANT school programs are based off of this information. Thanks for doing this!
• 5th Grade Students will grab their lunch and breakfast for the next day, as they leave door 1 for the day.
• 6th Grade Students will grab their lunch and breakfast for the next day, as they leave door 5 for the day.
  
• Rocket Virtual Students will be able to pick up food for next week on Tuesday (September 8) at the high school from 2-3pm. After that, Rocket Virtual will be able to pick up on MONDAY's at the high school from 2-3pm.

Teachers will be hosting snack times in their classrooms this year. This is because breakfast and lunch are not served at school this year. We recognize the need for our kids to eat throughout the day. More information will come directly from your teacher!

Please make sure these snacks are prepackaged and as healthy as possible.
