Fall into Fitness & Kick-off Event!
Howdy Tarrant County 4-H'ers!
My name is Kaden Gordillo and I am a Healthy Texas Youth Ambassador and President of the Lonestar Legacy 4-H Club in Haslet, TX. This fall, our club wants to challenge you to an 8 week Fall Into Fitness Challenge through Walk Across Texas. Our goal is to have at least one team from each club in Tarrant County participate!
It is a great way to get up and get moving with your friends and family and establish a habit of regular physical activity! Walk Across Texas is an 8-week, 832-mile challenge. As a team of at least 8, you would be collectively achieving the goal of walking the distance from El Paso to Longview.
How it Works:
If you are interested in registering a team, please complete this google form and I will send you everything you need to register on our dashboard. Then, you will:
1. Form a team of 8 members
2. Join our league "Tarrant County Walk Stars"
3. Log your miles walked in our online challenge tracker
Once you are registered, I will add you to our Team Reach so we can stay in contact with updates throughout the 8 weeks.
We will be hosting a kickoff event (color run) to this challenge on Sunday, October 20 at 12:00 noon at the Haslet Community Park. See the flyers below for details!
