Attendance
When your student is out, please remember to send a doctor or parent note when they return to school so that absences may be marked excused.
Morning Drop-Off
Students should be ready to get out of the car each morning when it is their turn. Please ensure your student has all of his/her belongings together so we don't hold up the line. Students should not get out of the car until they are near the school. They should not be getting out near the greenway.
Winter Break
Students will be dismissed at 10:45am on Friday, December 20 for our Winter Break. Students will return on Tuesday, January 7 for the beginning of the 3rd Nine Weeks.
Cafeteria Information
Cafeteria menus can be found by going to:
School Menus - Robertson County Schools
*Visitors will not be allowed to eat lunch in the cafeteria this year due to limited space in the cafeteria.
Lost and Found
Please remind your student to check for lost and found items outside the cafeteria. We have a wide selection of hoodies, jackets, lunchboxes, and water bottles that have been found around the school that are looking to find their way home! All items still in the lost and found by Winter Break will be donated.
We would like to invite all parents/guardians to join us for a Holiday Breakfast on Friday, December 20th. Classroom breakfast parties will begin at 8:30am and we will open the doors to parents to begin sign-in at 8:00. Please have your driver's license or another form of photo identification so that we may check you in when you arrive. All visitors must sign-in and get a visitor sticker. Because we have such a large student population and limited space, children who are not HES students will not be allowed to attend the parties. Breakfast parties will conclude at 9:45. Legal guardians may sign students out in the classrooms at this time. If an adult other than the legal guardian will be signing out your student, that adult will have to sign your student out in the office and office staff will call the student to the office to leave. Please be sure any person who you plan to allow to sign your child out of school is listed on his/her Powerschool account. This day is a half-day of school for Robertson County and regular dismissal for students will be at 10:45. We look forward to celebrating the holidays with you!

This holiday season we are so thankful for all of the many ways you support our PTO. We could not do any of the fun things we do for the students and staff without your help. We hope you have a wonderful holiday season!
Read20
We have had an amazing number of students participating in our Read 20 Program! As a review, each time your student reads 20 minutes or more outside of school, you will initial his/her Read 20 card. When your student's card is full, he/she will submit it to the homeroom teacher. Every two weeks, our PTO representatives will bring the prize cart around to award those who participated, and every month we will also hold special drawings including a trip to our school's Book Vending Machine. The grade level with the most participation at the end of the 9 weeks will also be awarded with extra recess. Keep reading, Patriots!
If you would like to assist with purchasing items for our Read 20 Prize Cart, please check out our Amazon Wishlist. All donations are greatly appreciated!
