Little Lancers Lowdown
“Where Learners are Grown with Pride!”
January 2024
Dear Little Elba Lancer Families,
I hope the January newsletter finds you well and that you had a joyful and restful holiday break surrounded by the warmth of family and friends. As we bid farewell to 2023, I want to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for your continued support and partnership in fostering a nurturing educational environment here at Elba Elementary.
The holiday season was not only a time for celebration but also a period of reflection. As we celebrate the successes of the first four months of school, I welcome new opportunities for growth and development in our Little Elba Lancers. Our commitment to providing a safe, inclusive, and academically challenging environment remains, and I am confident that the collaborative efforts of our school community will contribute to the continued success of each and every student.
As we reenter the routine of school life, let us carry with us the spirit of togetherness and the lessons learned during the holiday season. May the new year bring joy, accomplishments, and a wealth of memorable experiences for your children. Thank you for entrusting us with the privilege of educating and nurturing your children. Here's to a fantastic 2024 filled with curiosity, exploration, and growth. As always, please reach out with any questions or concerns!
With Lancer Pride,
~Mrs. Jessica Cramer

Spreading Joy!
Mrs. Millington's fourth graders practiced spreading joy throughout the building in December. They acted as secret elves and made ornaments and wrote thank you cards for our substitutes! They sang to the pre-k classes, read stories to Mrs. Allen’s kindergarten class, made cards for 1st grade, wrote Christmas stories for 2nd grade, and even made cookies for 3rd grade. To wrap up the month of giving, they sent hot cocoa to their classmates in Mrs. Pietrzykowski’s class. They did all this knowing that the hugs, smiles, and happiness in their hearts would be all they received. And that was more than enough!
Holiday Sing-a-Long
Our Little Elba Lancers enjoyed the annual Holiday Sing-a-Long on December 22nd. Thank you to Mr. Hirsch and Ms. Miller for organizing the event!
December Lancer Leaders
Congratulations to our December Lancer Leaders! These students demonstrated being respectful, responsible, and safe and were nominated! Keep up the good work!
