Thanksgiving Prayer by Pre-K, KA & KB
Grateful hearts at our Thanksgiving Prayer Service. A special thank you to our Pre-K, Kindergarten teachers and students for leading the way, and to Father Rinn for his years of participation in this cherished tradition. This year marks his last with us, and we are thankful for the many memories he helped create.
12/2/24 - 12/4/24 AR Store Open
12/3/24 - 12/5/24 Santa's Workshop Holiday Shopping Event
The holidays are approaching, and we’re excited to bring back Santa's Workshop! This fun event allows students to shop for gifts during the school day. Please review the details below:
Event Details:
- Location: School Gym
- Dates: 12/3, 12/4, 12/5
- Items Available: Gifts for Mom, Dad, and Siblings! (Cost: $1 - $20 per item)
- Shopping Time: Students will shop during their PE class schedule. (Tuesday and Thursday classes/times will be switched for this week.)
Important Information:
- Envelopes: A shopping envelope was sent home with your student last Friday. Please check your student's yellow communication folder for the envelope with more details.
- Payment: Please send cash or check only (no credit cards). Make checks payable to St. Viator School PTO.
- Gift Limit: To ensure students have enough time to shop, we recommend to only purchase gifts for immediate family members (Mom, Dad, and siblings). This will help ensure they can shop efficiently without the pressure of purchasing for friends, the entire class, or themselves.
How You Can Help:
- Discuss with your student what gifts they would like to buy.
- Include the appropriate amount of cash or a check in the envelope.
- Return the envelope by Monday, December 3rd so your student can participate in the shopping event.
We hope this event brings extra holiday cheer, and we thank you for supporting this special tradition!

REMINDER: PARKING LOT DISMISSAL
NO LEFT TURN ON EASTERN:
Under NO circumstance should any car make a left onto Eastern from the school campus. Some of our families are making the decision to turn left 🤨. There is a NO LEFT TURN SIGN! Turning left is dangerous and causes a stoppage of traffic. In addition, please do not make a right onto Eastern and then make a u-turn in the school zone. This is illegal while children are present and school zone sign is lit.
STAFF PARKING LOT:
The staff lot on Eastern Ave is for handicap parking during drop off and pick up only. You may not park in a handicapped space without disabled persons plates or placards issued by a government agency. The visitor parking in the staff parking lot is not for drop-off and/or pick-up.
LOOP PARKING LOT:
The numbered staff parking in the loop is for staff members only. Kids are running unattended through the loop and down the walkway to the church parking lot. Students need to stay with their parents at all times. There are too many cars in the area and children can get hurt. Teachers are busy connecting students to cars and they have voiced concern over the children running unattended. Let's all work together to keep our students and families safe!
Viator Parish Tuition Rate Reminder
The most significant criteria to qualify for the Viator Parish rate is regular attendance at Sunday Mass using your envelopes.
In order to qualify for the Viator rate you MUST:
- Attend a minimum of 26 masses (Saturday or Sunday)
- Use the envelopes sent to you from the church
- Forgot your envelope? Remember your parish number and use a blank envelope provided at mass.
DO NOT
- Mail in your envelopes to St. Viator church. These will not be counted.
- Drop off your envelope in the church on a school mass day.
- Forgetting the envelope and telling the church or school you went.
Tuition review will happen in November and you should have 13 masses by this time. All rates will be reviewed and possibly adjusted after the assessment. If your rate is adjusted it will be reflected on the December statement. Please DO NOT call or email the school office or church office to ask if changes are being made until after the receipt of your statement.
Remember, parents are a model of faith for their children and when families join us on a regular basis they are showing their children the priority faith and church has in their lives.
