All dates you see below are on the calendar located on our website.
Each event below has a label on which group is participating.

(IP) Parent Meeting for Indoor Percussion - Monday, December 16
- Parent meeting at 8pm to discuss the season and fees.
(PB) Pep Band #2 - Tuesday, December 17
- Call time is 6:50pm
- STUDENTS -- check your email regarding this game titled "Tuesday, December 17th Pep Band Logistics"
(SB/JB1/PE) California Trip Payment #2 Due - Thursday, December 19
- If you have not made your first payment, please do so ASAP!
- Fundraising is available for this! Please check below in the fundraising section.
(ALL) Winter Break - Monday, December 23 - Monday, January 6

Fundraisers
West Ada - Winter Raffle - ends December 31st
- Click HERE to access the fundraising page. Or purchase through a student's link so they can get the credit directly to their account.
- $50/ticket -- get a free extra ticket when you purchase four tickets in the same order. (Buy four get one free)
- Funds go towards individual sellers and their fees for the California Tour -- 92% profit per ticket. Any funds raised by December 19th will be applied to payment #2. Funds raised after December 19th will be applied to payment #3.
- If donating through the main page, make sure to email Mr. Barro to let him know if the funds are specified for a specific student.
- If you would like to purchase raffle tickets just to go towards the general band fund, please specify that by emailing Mr. Barro.
Boise State Concessions
- Our band boosters have been working a lot to get money to help fund ALL of our band students. Please consider volunteering for a concession date!
- If you have any questions or are interested in being part of this, please contact our boosters at mtnviewbandboosters@gmail.com
- Adults or Students 16 or older -- if you are interested in helping with Boise State Concessions, join the BAND app group HERE
Donate Directly to MVHS Bands - any amount helps!!
- By check made out to MVHS Bands dropped off to Mr. Barro or the front office bookkeeper.

Spring 2025 Music Department Tour to California - Trip Payment Schedule
Trip payment due dates:
Deposit: $50 - Overdue
Payment #1: $250 - Overdue
Payment #2: $250 - Due Thursday, December 19
Payment #3: $250 - Due Thursday, February 6
Payment #4: $150* - Due Thursday, March 6
*Payment #4 can fluctuate either higher or lower depending on how many students attend vs how many buses we need
All payments can be made online on MySchoolFees or via check/cash. If paying by check, make it out to MVHS Bands.
If paying by cash, please put it in an envelope with the student name and payment # OR drop it off to the bookkeeping office before school, during advisory/lunch, or after school.
Please Note: This is the last call for students interested in going on the trip! After our second payment, the rosters will be finalized for the trip!
