Book Bonanza in the HPS Library
Lots of things are happening at our library! The HPS Lions Library is now serving grades PreK-8! ALL of the nonfiction collection is now ready for students wanting to take an Accelerated Reader test.
The HS “book”tique collection will be opening in the Tech Building in September with a BRAND NEW collection of books! More details coming soon.
Please return any library books you might have found over the summer. Come by the library during open house to guess how many “bookworms” we have in the library to win a prize and to sign up for a public library card with your child. This card will allow your child to access all of the Southeast Oklahoma Library System materials, both physically and virtually (age-appropriate restrictions are in place).

FREE breakfast and lunches to all students
We are thrilled to announce that our school has qualified for the CEP Child Nutrition status, providing FREE breakfast and lunches to all students for this school year!
For the past two years, we have proudly subsidized the cost of meals, absorbing over $100,000 each year to ensure no burden was placed on our parents and families. This year, thanks to the CEP program, we can continue supporting our students' nutritional needs without any additional cost to you.
Together, we are committed to fostering a healthy and successful learning environment for all. Thank you for your continued support!
