Rock Hill Review
January 12th, 2025
A Minute with Mouton
Hello Rock Nation,
I hope this message finds you well-rested... perhaps even more well rested than initially planned! Mother Nature certainly had her own ideas about our return to school, deciding that our regular winter break needed a snowy encore performance.
While we may have set a record for the shortest "back to school" period (a whopping two days!), I trust everyone made the most of our surprise winter intermission. Whether you built snowmen, caught up on your latest program binge, or simply watched the snowflakes while wondering if your car remembered how to start in cold weather – we're now ready for our second "second semester start."
As we gather once again in our classrooms and hallways, let's embrace this unique beginning to 2025. After all, how many chances do we get to have two fresh starts in one semester? Our regular schedule will resume tomorrow, and we look forward to seeing everyone's bright (and hopefully defrosted) faces back on campus and at all of the events taking place this week.
Stay warm and safe Rock Hill...Rock Solid!

Congratulations to Paige Olsen for winning the All-American High School Film Festival pitch competition. Her 3-minute video pitch was selected out of more than 50 videos nationwide. This win means her final film is guaranteed to premiere at the AMC theater in Time Square, New York in front of hundreds of other film students. Congratulations Paige!
The Law Enforcement and Forensic Psychology students were on the case investigating a thrilling mock crime scene! Armed with investigative skills and a sharp eye for detail students worked together to search for evidence and uncover the truth about what happened to the "victim." From analyzing fingerprints to examining key clues these future crime solvers put their forensic knowledge to the test in a hands-on experience that brought their classroom learning to life.
