Here are some facts about Presidents' Day :

• History

  The holiday was originally called Washington's Birthday, but was changed to Presidents' Day in the 1970s.

• Date

  Presidents' Day is celebrated on the third Monday of February each year

• Purpose

  The holiday honors past US presidents, including George Washington and Abraham Lincoln.

  
  

Here are some pictures from the 5th Grade Revolutionary War Living Museum. They all did a fantastic job sharing about their learning and representing someone important from this time period.

On Friday, we had technical difficulties with our Infinite Campus Program that does our grades. We are supposed to send out Progress Reports on Monday, but please know if this issue isn't resolved, it may be Tuesday or Wednesday. Thanks for your understanding!!

Saturday, February 15th was National SRO Appreciation Day! I didn't realize this until now, but definitely wanted to give a shout out to Officer Jenn! Her love and commitment to our students is evident and we appreciate her so very much!! Thanks for all you do, Officer Jenn!!

• Kindergarten- Thursday, February 20th, 1-2 PM
• Third Grade- Friday, February 28th, 12:45 - 1:15 Math event, 1:15-1:45 Music Program
• Fourth Grade- Friday, February 21st, 12:45 pm

We will be having our quarterly PTO Meeting on February 20th at 8:30 AM in the auditorium. PTO will be making plans for our annual Spring Fling. We would love to have your help! We hope to see you there!
