Volume 5 Ed. 20
Welcome Carrie MacAllaster New Raider Principal
Dear North Forsyth High School Parents:
It is with immense excitement and gratitude that I introduce myself to you as the new principal of North Forsyth High School for the 2025-2026 school year. I am beyond thrilled to join this vibrant community and to partner with you in supporting our students' growth and success.
A little about me: My husband, Mark, and I are proud parents to three wonderful children who have all been part of Forsyth County Schools. Our daughter, Sarah, is a senior at The University of Georgia, set to graduate in May and marry in June. Griffin, our son, is a sophomore at Georgia State University, and Owen, our youngest, is a freshman at The University of North Georgia. We’ve lived in the North Forsyth community for many years, and all our children attended Matt Elementary and Liberty Middle School.
With 28 years of experience in education, including 11 years in Forsyth County Schools, I feel truly fortunate to serve as the principal of North Forsyth High School. Before coming here, I spent the past two years as principal at Riverwatch Middle School, and prior to that, I was an assistant principal at Forsyth Central and South Forsyth High Schools. My journey in Forsyth County has been incredibly rewarding, and I am eager to bring that same dedication and passion to North Forsyth High.
As I transition into this new role, I am committed to learning more about the rich traditions and culture of North Forsyth High School. I deeply admire the incredible work accomplished by Mr. Carnaroli and the dedicated staff of NFHS. Collaboration is key and I look forward to collaborating with the entire school community to build upon this strong foundation while continuing to make North an outstanding place to learn and grow.
Over the coming months, Mr. Carnaroli and I will work closely together to ensure a smooth transition. I am excited to visit the school, meet with our Local School Council, spend time with the staff, and join you and your students at many of the amazing extracurricular events that make North Forsyth so special.
I can’t wait to start this exciting new chapter with all of you. Together, we’ll continue to make great things happen for our students, staff, and community at Raider Nation!
With much excitement and enthusiasm,
Carrie MacAllaster

Information about upcoming senior events, senior dues, and graduation information can be found on the NFHS website. Please click “Extracurricular” and then “Senior Class News”. You can also follow us for updates on Instagram @nfhs_seniors. We also post important information for seniors on the Class of 2025 Counseling Website.
Senior Dues: All payments must be made online at https://www.3rdascent.com. On January 1st, dues will increase to $175 and incur a late fee. Dues cover the cost of the graduation cap/gown, diploma/diploma cover, senior breakfast, senior picnic, rental of the arena, and other special treats. Seniors will be able to pick up their cap/gown before the senior picnic on April 23rd.
Graduation: Please note that graduation is on Tuesday, May 20th at 7PM at Gas South Arena. Once the portal for graduation announcements has opened, we will share that through the newsletter for families to order.
Senior Letters: We will start collecting Senior Letters in January 2025 through April and they can be delivered to the front office or the counseling office. We will send out more concrete information soon but wanted to give families a heads up that we will be offering this special opportunity for parents, grandparents, friends, teachers, and former teachers to write to their seniors again this year. We always recommend that parents send out a message to individuals that have made an impact in their senior's life to ask if they would be willing to write a letter. Seniors will get the opportunity to open letters with their friends at the end of the year during a Senior Sunset event in May.
