News & Information for Tiger Families
Letter from the Principal
Tiger Families,
St. Teresa Church will be celebrating St. Therese of Lisieux Feast Day
on Sunday, September 29th at 11am Mass.
Please join us afterwards for a light lunch
and small token of appreciation for being parishioners of St. Teresa Church.
St. Therese of Lisieux official Feast Day is October 1st. Please join St. Teresa School in celebrating St. Therese's Feast Day by wearing TIGER SPIRITWEAR.
Spirit wear must be yellow or black and say St. Teresa on it. (Uniform bottoms)
This year St. Teresa School is launching an initiative to become more environmentally friendly. We know that 13 billion pounds of paper towels end up in landfills each year, that is why here at St. Teresa School our first step to becoming more environmentally friendly is to begin eliminating paper towels and use hand driers throughout the school. We know that there will be some bumps as this change takes place in the weeks ahead, but as stewards of God we also know that we have been given a command to care for all that God has made. As we begin this adventure we hope to teach students how to garden, compost, and live a more sustainable life style.
If you have applied to volunteer at St. Teresa School please be on the look out for two emails.
Individuals who are in need of a CANTS background check will receive an email from Dcfs.CFS689BackgroundCheck@illinois.gov. While individuals in need of a criminal background check will receive an email from S2Verify Belleville109.
Instructions will be included in the email to verify individual information and authorize the request.
Don't forget the DEADLINE TO SUBMIT A VOLUNTEER APPLICATION IS OCTOBER 4th.
As always, we thank you for sharing your student with us. We appreciate your trust, support, and partnership. TIGERS LEAD THE WAY!
TIGERS TOGETHER FOR ADAM!
Sincerely,
Nicole Green
