Each month administration will host a time of community fellowship for parents of children PreK-12th grade. There will be a time of prayer, a devotional, sharing, learning, and connection, along with some tasty pastries served. We will set aside one Friday of each month to spend this time together. All parents join us Friday, Nov. 8 at 8:15 am, on the blacktop , then we will go to an indoor space to meet. We will focus our time using a video series on Gen Z from The Center for Truth in Love. Future gatherings will be from 8:15-9:00 am. Put these dates on your calendar and plan to join us: Dec. 6, Feb. 7, Mar. 14, Apr. 11, and May 9.

Please review these important safety details:

• When dropping off students (elementary AND secondary), pull all the way up to the crosswalk nearest to the orange cones and staff member on duty. DO NOT STOP AT THE GYM ENTRANCE AND LET SECONDARY STUDENTS OUT OF A VEHICLE.
• When using the drop off and pick up lanes, do not cut out of line and use other lanes to go around or cut through to other exits. This presents a safety concern for those walking and driving.
• Only approved adults may pick up elementary students with an ID number tag. Not acceptable are numbers on cell phones, written on paper, or just by familiarity. Those without the tag will need to go to the office. Extra tags are available in the office.
• Students and adults must use crosswalks and sidewalks when coming and leaving for the school day.
• When using the Winco parking lot, DO NOT STOP TO LET STUDENTS OUT of a vehicle while in the driveway. Park and walk to the gate. Do not block the traffic flow.

Last month we hosted a complimentary estate planning education for interested parents, relatives, employees, and friends in the NCCS community. This free event was presented by two financial advisors, Ben Bistline and Dustin Marlett, both parents in our school. The information they shared with the 30 guests in attendance is available in the attachment. We greatly appreciate their enthusiasm and professional expertise in this area!

We look forward to having conversations with those who seek to include NCCS in their charitable giving plans. Included in the presentation, there were several ideas presented on giving to non-profits, with significant tax benefit to the the donor. Contact Sherri James to have a conversation about giving to NCCS.

We are excited to host the 2024 craft fair on 11/24/24! Please fill out this form to register yourself or your student. We have limited tables available and they are $5.00 each for use during the event, however there is no fee (for students and Society members) if you bring your own table. Start planning now to have a booth or to shop for gifts at this school community event.

The form will be available until 11/15/22 at 4:00 p.m. Please complete it before this date if you intend to have a booth.

If you are interested in our upcoming East Coast Trip for June 2025 and have not yet registered, now is the time! We have less than a week to get everyone signed up for this trip by November 4th.

Please make church attendance with your family a priority. It is an expectation that NCCS parents and students attend a Christian church. We hope our families are attending a Christian church and are involved in that community, in person. If you are looking for a home church, we encourage you to check out our list of local churches where we already have school families attend.
