Dear parents and families ,
As we wrap up October, I want to take a moment to celebrate the great things we’ve accomplished together this month—and to get excited for Spirit Week! This is a great chance to show your school pride, have some fun, and support one another as we celebrate. Let’s make it a memorable week full of positivity, creativity, and teamwork. Remember to check the daily themes, participate and let’s end October with amazing school spirit!

👻Spirit Week🎃
NHS Boo Grams
Students! NHS Boo Grams are coming up, they will be in the cafeteria taking orders October 28th-31st and will be passing out the boo grams on November 1st.
👾🚀Nasa Astronaut Film & Keynote👽🌌
Students! there will be a free movie screening this Wednesday at 3pm in the Performance Hall — A Million Miles Away.
Followed by his keynote next Thursday as part TRIO’s First Gen Fest! East Foyer and Performance Hall, 11-1pm. Keynote at 12:30pm.

Campus Support Month
October is officially Campus Support Month at Dallas ISD! Throughout October, We encourage you to support our students by donating today! Donors may designate their donation to a specific Dallas ISD school of their choice or they can support high-need campuses across the district by contributing to the Dallas Education Foundation Campus Support Fund!

Dallas Museum of Art Field Trip
Debate Team
Saturday was the 1st Tournament of the season for Debate! Junior Natalie Lara received tops #1 in total speaker points in the Community Action Division. All 4 girls in the pic (Junior's Jackie Antopia, Marlen Bolanos, Sheyla Martinez & Natalie Lara) they all received awards for being top 10 in speaker points and Marlen & Natalie were the #1 team in the CAD, Community Action Division.

The Dallas ISD Parent Portal system uses PowerSchool. It is a valuable resource available in English and Spanish for parents/guardians to use to become more involved in their children’s education.
