Our teachers spent the day learning about the new Diocese of Trenton report card that will be used this school year. They also had the chance to meet with teachers from other schools who also teach the same grade. This was valuable time to collaborate with other teachers. Parents will receive a separate email explaining the report cards. You will also hear more about this from teachers on Wednesday evening.
We welcome you to Back-to-School Night on Wednesday, September 18th. Parents of PK3 - 5th grade students will visit classes beginning at 6:30 PM. PLEASE NOTE: This is a change in the grade levels previously scheduled for this time. There will be three 15 minute sessions with 5 minutes between them to allow you to move to the next class if you have multiple children in grades PK3 - 5.
ALL parents will then assemble in the gym at 7:45 PM for our State of the School Address and first General PTA Meeting of the year. Parents of students in grades 6-8 will remain in the gym following the meeting where our middle school teachers will each have a chance to speak with the group. This will allow parents to hear from all our teachers of grades 6-8. Parents will not visit classrooms during this session.
We look forward to the first PTA social event of the year at Friday's Back-to-School Social. The children have been talking about this event all week. I am sure the excitement will continue in the week ahead.
