If you need directions, click here or call the Bridlemile Main Office at (503) 916-6292.
Student Report Cards are available in ParentVue on Monday, Feb 3rd
PPS has moved to paperless report cards this year, but we are choosing to take a little more time in the paper lane. We will print report cards for all students and send them home via student backpacks on Wednesday, February 5th.
Also coming home are individual student reports from our WINTER iReady Diagnostic Assessment. This report shares your student’s MATH growth target (what will we need to make one year’s worth of growth) and Fall-Winter progress towards that growth target. Students’ individualized MyPath lessons are also re-calibrated based on these winter assessments.
Draft 2025-26 PPS Calendar
Draft calendar for 25-26: Here is the 25-26 Draft Calendar that was sent to the Board of Education on January 7, 2025.
Teamwork Moves Mountains!
It’s an attendance team effort! Students are working together to help our Beagle get to the top of the mountain. They’ll do it with 95% attendance! When you miss school, you miss out and we miss you!
Salmon Cam Is LIVE!
We are officially in the Alevin stage! Salmon are doing a great job growing. We try to broadcast our live stream during lunchtime for viewing fun. Go to Bridlemile Beagles YouTube Channel to watch the livestream.
Practice Drills
We conduct monthly fire drills to practice exiting the building safely, quickly, and in an organized manner. Ask your Beagle about this month’s fire drill which we practiced on Wednesday, right after our all-school assembly in the cafeteria!
We shared with students that we practice leaving the building during different times of the day and different places. Students did a great job being safe and responsible.
From the Counselors
In our most recent counseling lessons in K-2, we’ve been diving into kindness and empathy. Through stories, discussions, and fun activities, students have been learning what it means to step into someone else’s shoes and understand how others might feel. We’ve also talked about simple but powerful ways to show kindness, like inviting someone to play, helping out in the classroom or at home, and kind words.
Our Beagles have been thinking about how kindness spreads—when one person is kind, it encourages others to do the same, creating a ripple effect throughout our school and beyond!
Thanks for being part of our caring school community and continuing the conversation with your child at home about what it means to be kind!

Art Room- From Mrs. Gretencort
So many things are happening in the art room: mixed media jungles, exquisite creatures drawings, "snow globes", pinch pots, surprise pop-out drawings, visual journals, and more. Every grade created colorful paper lanterns for the Lunar New Year. Please stop by our main lobby and hallway to take a peek. Updates coming to our Instagram page soon. Follow us at @bridlemile_art.

Missoula Children's Theater Week at Bridlemile
A note from your Missoula Theatre Coordinator:
Please take a moment to prepare your child for the audition by explaining that, while we’d love to cast every child, there are a limited number of roles available for the play. Bridlemile usually has more than twice the number of students auditioning than we have roles to fill. We understand this can be disappointing, and while we can’t completely prevent any tears, having this conversation in advance may help set expectations and ease the experience.
Tell your children to go out there and give it their best, and that if they aren’t chosen this year, it doesn’t mean they’re not great actors or singers, it just means that there simply wasn’t a role for them this year
The Missoula Children’s Theater Auditions are taking place ONE WEEK FROM MONDAY on February 10th at 2:30pm and this year the play is Hercules! Permission slips for auditions can be found below and are due back BY February 7th. Reminder that your student cannot audition for the play without a permission slip being completed and sent back via the link below. Additional details about the play can also be found below:
Permission Slip: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdDO4hcjjQ28isAowhRx1GaaFesgviU4MyYgXVcB-abtO9h1w/viewform
Audiences of all ages will get a fresh look at an age-old favorite when the Missoula Children’s Theatre (MCT) and roughly 60 local Bridlemile students present Hercules. MCT is a performing arts organization that brings theater to children across the country and around the world. MCT's mission is to provide children with an immersive theater experience that helps them develop life skills.
