Principal's Message
Dear Cavalier Families,
Welcome back to Quarter 2! I hope you had a wonderful Fall Break! I am looking forward to cooler weather and the beauty of fall foliage in our natural surroundings!
Our students are such talented academics, artists and athletes! We had a fantastic week of activities before break, please check out the pictures below.
This week's announcements:
- There is no school on Monday, October 7. School resumes on Tuesday, October 8. It will be a regular day bell schedule.
- Let support our Padres by wearing Padres gear to school on Tuesday!
- Free food distribution on Wednesday, October 9 at G street gate starting at 4:00 pm until supplies last.
- All students and parents have the unique opportunity to receive individual and family therapy sessions at no cost through the Center of Mindful Relationships. If any student is interested in this, please fill out this form or the QR code on the flyer listed below can be scanned.
- Rise Up Friday has changed this year to include Parent Conferences. This week is with the English department. Parents, you may receive a notification that your student's English teacher has invited you to attend a conference and/or that your student has been assigned to stay after school on Friday for extra support.
- On Friday evening at 6:00 pm, our band will be attending the CVH Football Game.
Continuing announcements:
- Students and Parents, class changes will still be occurring to balance classes as more students enroll. Every effort will be made to keep students with the same teachers, but the change may be to a different period. There may also be no change to student's schedule, but a teacher change as well. Thank you for your patience.
- A reminder that NO CELL PHONES or earbuds / headphones should be visible on campus. They should be turned off and put in backpacks. We found cell phones to be the cause of many conflicts due to social media. Parents, please support us with this. Do not contact your child through the cell phone during the day. Parents can always call the main office to relay a message to your student. Phones should not be on during CLUB TC and shouldn't be in sight until students are off-campus.
- Parents can register their students for Club TC on the school website or through the QR code below. The Club TC office is in Room 215, close to the white G street gate. Those arriving early must enter through the gate. After school dismissal is also through the white G street gate. Once students exit the Auditorium gate at 3:10 pm they are not allowed to enter back for Club TC.
