It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!
Joy to the Classroom!
Dear McKinley & Stangel Families,
As we approach the holiday break, I want to take a moment to express my gratitude for your continued partnership and support throughout the year. Our school community is truly special, and it’s because of the care, dedication, and involvement of families like yours.
This season is a time for reflection, connection, and rest. I hope your holiday break is filled with moments of joy, laughter, and cherished time with loved ones. May it also be a chance to recharge and prepare for an exciting and successful new year.
On behalf of our entire staff, thank you for allowing us to be part of your child’s journey. We look forward to welcoming everyone back January 2nd, 2025 for a fantastic start to the new year.
Wishing you and your family a safe, happy, and peaceful holiday season!
Warm regards,

- Read the Shakespeare play Twelfth Night or excerpts from it, and figure out how it relates to the holiday.
- Watch Shakespeare in Love and compare to (a) the holiday, and (b) the Shakespeare play.
- Watch and critique the contemporary film interpretation She's the Man.
- Create your own class celebration of 12th Night, or your own modern interpretations of the play, or both!
