CCI Families,
🏈 Super Bowl LIX: Cast Your Vote! 🏆
Student Council is bringing some football fun to CCI! Next week, students can vote for the team they think will win Super Bowl LIX by purchasing tickets.
📅 Ticket Sales: Monday, Thursday, & Friday
💰 Cost: $0.50 per ticket
📍 How It Works: Place your ticket in the bucket of the team you predict to win!
Let’s see which team our students think will take home the championship! 🏈🎉
📢 Reminder: No School on Wednesday, February 5! 🏫❌
Students will have the day off while our teachers participate in a Professional Development Day . We appreciate your support as our staff continues to learn and grow! Enjoy the midweek break!
💗Valentine’s Day: A Sweet Treat for Our Staff!
This Valentine’s Day, let’s show some love to our amazing teachers and staff by giving them a duty-free lunch from 12:00-1:00 PM! To make this happen, we’re looking for volunteers to:
- Supervise lunch and recess so our staff can enjoy a well-deserved break.
- Bring in desserts to sweeten their day!
If you’re willing to help supervise or contribute a dessert, please sign up here.
Thank you for supporting our team – your kindness makes a big difference! ❤️
📣Junior Achievement Volunteers Needed!
We’re excited to bring Junior Achievement to our school for a one-day event, and we need your help to make it a success! Junior Achievement provides hands-on activities that inspire and prepare our students to succeed in the real world by teaching them about financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and career readiness.
Volunteering is a one-day commitment, and no prior experience is necessary—just a willingness to make a difference in the lives of our students! If you're interested, please contact Kaitlyn Schrank, Regional Student Impact Manager at Junior Achievement of Southwestern Indiana.

6th Grade Field Trip Info
We are excited about the 6th grade field trip on Thursday, March 20th to Louisville. Students will experience Top Golf, The Kentucky Derby Museum, and an IMAX video (most likely in 3D). The 6th graders will need to bring a sack lunch, but the rest of the field trip for students is paid for by the PTO funds (mostly Walk-a-thon donations).
We would love to have you come as a parent chaperone. If you want to chaperone, please complete the Google Form. You will need to have a background check completed. (Background checks are good for 2 years.) The form is due in two weeks for parent chaperones on Friday, January 31st.
