Rolling Toward the Future
Junior and Senior students had the opportunity on Tuesday to visit the Lake Area Technical College Career and College Fair. While there, students had the opportunity to chat with businesses about what their fields entail, visit with over 20 colleges, and also take a trip to the South Dakota National Guard Readiness Center to explore military options.
Students took advantage of the day and came away with lots of great information and hands-on experiences while learning about different options for after high school graduation.
Piper, Elliot, and Izzy chatted with reps in the health care field and learned more about infant development.
Tyler tried his hand on a welding simulator manned by a LATC representative.
Eiza did her best to move bowling balls to a garbage can as part of the heavy machinery career fair booth.
SHS Fall Fun!
Mahree, Stella, and Autim worked hard on their Gru and the Minions pumpkins.
The Senior Class scarecrow and pumpkins were ready to greet visitors to Conferences this week.
Jerry put some finishing touches on the Frankenstein pumpkin.

Liliana rocked the first oral interp contest of the year, earning a Superior Award with her piece in the Serious Category. Coach Prendergast and her team are looking forward to an exciting interp season!
