Jaguar Families,
We had our first Fall Dance last night and had over 250 students attend - it was great! Thank you for picking up your child on time. I was actually able to leave before 6:00 pm because everyone was picked up!
Our next dance is Friday, December 13 and is sponsored by the SCA (Student Council) and is our Bonfire Dance which the students love because we roast marshmallows and get to be outdoors some. Our local fire department is always very supportive of us in making sure our bonfire is safe.
Thank you all for attending Back-to-School-Night, we had a great turnout for such a rainy night.
Be on the lookout for Family Conference sign-up, as well. Those are coming up in October.
As I shared last week, thank you again for your support as we continue to get school under way. You all are so important to us as we will work to advance your Jaguar in their academic, social, and emotional development. I feel so fortunate to be your principal and I’m looking forward to a great year!

- Our fall surveys are given in October and November - DESSA, Panorama, and peer nomination survey. You can read the Full Memo here.
Mindfulness Club
- Mr. Mthethwa is hosting a Mindfulness Club for students, staff, and families on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings from 8:00-8:50 am.
- Please sign and return the Mindfulness Permission Form to Mr. Mthethwa.
- Students can also pick up a copy of the form to bring home in the main office.
Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)
- We have a fantastic PTO and would love to see more families become involved.
- The next meeting will be Wednesday, October 9 at 6:00pm in the Media Center at Journey.
