5.21.25
Thursday 5.22 is Early Release at 1:05pm
Dear Beck Families,
As we wrap up the school year, I want to take a moment to thank you for your continued support, partnership, and trust. This has been a year full of growth, learning, and memorable moments — and none of it would be possible without the incredible families that make up our school community.
Now, summer is here — a time to slow down, soak up the sunshine, and enjoy the simple pleasures of family time. I encourage you to enjoy this special time with your children. Whether you're traveling, relaxing at home, camps, backyard adventures, or exploring new activities, I hope the break is filled with fun, laughter, and quality time together.
Watching your children learn, grow, and thrive has been a joy and a privilege. From classroom milestones to school events, field trips, and quiet moments of connection, this year has been full of memories that we’ll carry with us.
We’re already looking forward to welcoming everyone back in the fall for another great year. Until then, enjoy every moment — and thank you again for all you do.
Wishing you all a safe, happy, and sunshine-filled summer!
Warmly,
Dr. Leah Radloff

Physical/Hard Copy Government-Issued Identification Requirements
As Katy ISD continues its review of safety practices and protocols, it's essential to stress the
significance of physical/hard copy government-issued identifications for accessing campuses/facilities, student registration, and student pickup. The district is strictly enforcing this requirement and will no longer accept paper or digital copies of driver's licenses, visas, and passports at any of its campuses or facilities, for these purposes. Katy ISD greatly appreciates the community's cooperation with these safety procedures and the ongoing partnership to maintain safe and secure environments across campuses.
*For our community’s reference, below are examples of acceptable government-issued
identifications.
HAWK SIGNAL REMINDER
Fort Bend County Precinct 1 has provided the community with a new Hawk Signal. Please see the guide below for more information about how a Hawk Signal works and the actions you would take as a pedestrian and as a motorist.
Please help us spread the word in the community!
Encourage all to take advantage of the protection this adds for pedestrians AND motorists by activating the signal EACH time a pedestrian crosses Fry Road west of BJH (not operating at this time) and Mason Road south of Creech Elementary (operational).
