LHS Parents,

“Purple Up” Day at LHS

April is the Month of the Military Child, and Loveland City School District will honor students who have a parent or guardian serving in the armed forces. As a part of this, we will celebrate Purple Up Day on Tuesday, April 15. Our goal is to recognize the tenacity that our military connected youth display, especially in times of a family member's deployment. We will ask all of the members of the Loveland City School District to wear purple that day. Each military connected youth will also be recognized with the permission of the parent. We hope that everyone across the district will take part in this day of respect and honor.

Impact Night

Impact Night will take place on Thursday, April 17th from 5-8:00 pm. This year, Tigers Inc. collaborated with Loveland Legacy FoImpact Night to promote business in Loveland. Everyone is encouraged to wear orange and line the streets of downtown Loveland to cheer and support our local businesses.

Many of our local businesses partner with local nonprofit organizations for the week. Businesses choose to donate either 5, 10, 15, or 20% of such sales to a local non-profit of their choice. The goal of Impact Night is to give back to the businesses and local nonprofits that hold up our community by promoting them while simultaneously building awareness of the wonderful aspects of our community.

LHS Drama in Action This Weekend

There is still time to catch the Loveland High School drama department as they present the clever comedy, You Can't Be Too Careful, tonight and Saturday April 1th and 12th at 7pm.

When bridge club is interrupted by two bank robbers needing to lay low for a while, the ladies are all a twitter. What excitement! Since the four ladies are soap opera fans, they know all about damsels in distress. In fact, they probably know a lot more than the bank robbers do, and that leads to a lot of laughs.

You can buy tickets at the drama website - https://lovelandhstheater.wixsite.com/lhsdrama/box-office - or at the door before each performance. Tickets are $8 for students and senior citizens, $10 for adults.
