Announcements
- 11th graders and select seniors are taking the writing SOL from March 4 to March 20. Students need to make sure they bring their laptops and chargers for testing.
- School Counselors will visit all 9th-grade English classes on Tuesday, March 4, and Wednesday, March 5th. Students must bring their school-issued laptops fully charged. They will also visit all 10th graders on March 10th and March 11th.
- We will hold an assembly for 11th graders to learn about becoming a student representative for the RCPS School Board. Application packets will be in the main guidance office.
- Students cannot park on the campus without a valid driver's license and a WFHS parking pass. Without a parking pass, their vehicle may be towed.
- If students leave the building, they must have permission from their parents and school administration. This includes entering the parking lot.
- Please make sure student fees are paid and turn in any overdue items to the school library.
Grade Recovery/Plato
- If you failed a course for the semester, please RECOVER (bring the grade up to a passing grade) to receive credit for the course
- Please speak with your teacher about HOW you can recover your semester grade of an 'F'.
- This can be done through PLATO or a contract.
- IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO RECOVER YOUR GRADES!
- DO IT NOW! DON'T WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE!
Financial Literacy Night (Thursday, March 13th, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.)
William Fleming High School offers a Financial Literacy class covering topics such as credit, budgeting, home ownership, and more. Space is limited, so be sure to sign up quickly. The event will occur on Thursday, March 13th, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

2025 William Fleming PTSA Scholarships
We are excited to announce that the application for our 2025 PTSA scholarship is now open!

To be eligible for one of our scholarships, you must:
➡️ Be a member of the PTSA. Membership is based on the current academic year. Link to join available on the application. Cost is $5.
➡️ Be a senior and eligible to graduate this school year.
➡️ Plan to pursue post-secondary education in the form of vocational or technical training, community college, or a 4-year college.
➡️ Deadline to Apply is April 15th.
