LC Lunch Club Information
Los Cerritos Middle School Club Expectations
● Who can attend a club?
○ Any LC student can attend our lunch clubs.
● Do you have to go every time the club meets?
○ No. However, joining a club is a commitment, and we hope that you are able to
participate when you are able to.
● Can I change my mind about a club?
○ Yes. Make sure to tell the teacher sponsor, or the student leader who created the
club, that you are no longer interested.
● If someone is not being a kind Leopard in the club, what do I do?
○ Contact your teacher sponsor and inform them. Also, please complete an
incident report in the main office for administration to address.
● Why do we have lunch clubs?
○ Clubs are meant to create safe spaces to share your interests with others, meet
new friends, and get involved on campus.
Los Cerritos Club Protocols
1. When attending a club, you must sign into 5-Star (if available) or on paper.
2. Follow all LC classroom rules and expectations.
3. Follow directions from the sponsor teacher. Respect the space you are in.
4. Do not attend a club that you have no interest in. Don’t take up space for someone else
who is actually interested.
5. You are to head to the club after you get your lunch, not roam the hallways.
6. If administration is notified about behavior concerns, you will be asked to the club and be
assigned a detention.

Up to Five Key Takeaways...
Family participation and engagement is a key priority of the Conejo Valley Unified School District. Our seven Advisory Councils and Committees meet regularly for vibrant discussions, informative presentations, relationship-building activities and more. These meetings are open to all members of our CVUSD community to attend. However, we understand that attending meetings in-person is not always possible. Click HERE to stay informed on updates and actions from each Advisory Council and Committee, with "Up to Five Key Takeaways" from each meeting.
