Homecoming 2024
OUT OF THIS WORLD with The Lou
OUR PILLARS: Service, Identity, Community & Wonder
SAFETY
Homecoming Week should be filled with school spirit, community gatherings, and exciting
football! There is NO place for criminal misconduct, breaking curfew, and overall nefarious
behavior. St. Louis Catholic High School administration does not endorse Junior/Senior wars, nor
should parents encourage it. While we are sure at some point in the past students participated in good-natured and well-intended pranks and/or practical jokes, what has been taking place in many cases in recent years can very easily be considered sinful and most certainly criminal.
Working together to ensure our Saints have an enjoyable week with many school events planned, parents, faculty, administration, and students must share the same message. Please discuss the following with your student.
- Any damage to property should be reported to law enforcement.
- As stated in the Student handbook: "A student accused of a criminal wrong can be placed on home study pending the outcome of judicial review proceedings or internal investigation by the principal."
- Homecoming activities are a privilege, not a right. Restricting entry to all Homecoming events is a likely outcome of unruly off-campus mischief.
Students should strongly consider their intentions before acting upon them and we encourage families to not only protect their own property but feel free to pursue legal action if necessary for those that choose to violate it. At the end of the week, we want all of our Saints safe and back on campus with great memories.
Please pray for our students, alumni, and future Saints as we Honor and Praise God...In All
Ways.
