Crockett Families,
We are excited to share the tremendous success of our first Principal Coffee/Parent-Teacher-Student Association/Campus advisory Council meeting! We had an incredible turnout, and it was wonderful to see so many of you coming together to support our school community. Your energy and commitment are what make Crockett such a special place!
During the meeting, our committees brainstormed several exciting ideas, including:
- Beautification Projects: Enhancing our campus environment to create a welcoming and inspiring space for students and staff.
- Fundraising Initiatives: Exploring creative ways to raise funds that support our students and programs.
- Campus Improvement Plan Suggestions: Providing input to help shape our school's future and drive academic excellence.
- Student and Staff Appreciation Events: Finding meaningful ways to celebrate and recognize the hard work of our amazing students and staff.
- Booster Club Collaboration: Identifying opportunities to connect and work alongside our booster clubs to strengthen school spirit and engagement.
We want to hear from you! We invite all families to share their ideas, skills, and connections that could benefit our school. Whether you have expertise in a particular area, ideas for events or initiatives, or connections to local businesses or sponsors, your input is invaluable. Please fill out this interest form to let us know how you'd like to get involved. Even if you're not able to attend the meetings, there are lots of other ways you can support our school!
Mark your calendars! Our next PTSA meeting will be in combination with our Hispanic Heritage Month Lotería Potluck on Wednesday, October 9th from 5:30-7:00 PM in the cafeteria. Join us for an evening of food, fun, and celebration as we play Lotería and enjoy a potluck dinner together as a Crockett community. Afterward, we’ll break into committees to collaborate and plan upcoming projects and initiatives for our school. This is a great opportunity to connect with other families and share your ideas. We look forward to celebrating with you!
Also, bring your Crockett student so they can advocate for student needs, gain leadership experience, and enhance their college applications. Seniors who join at joinpta.org are eligible for a Texas PTA scholarship.
Thank you for being such an integral part of our school community. We hope to see you on October 9th from 5:30-7:00pm in the Crockett cafeteria. Together, we can continue to make Crockett an amazing place for our students to thrive!
Warmly,
Your Crockett High School PTSA
