Dear Families,

As Catholic Schools Week comes to an end, we want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support of our school community. Your involvement and dedication truly make a difference in creating a nurturing environment where our students can grow in faith, knowledge, and kindness.

Thank you for your partnership and for helping make this week so special. We are blessed to have such wonderful families as part of our school community as our students continue to be the Light.

On Monday, February 3 Our PreK-4, Kindergarten, and 1st Grade will be celebrating their 100th day of school. We are looking forward to seeing all of the activities planned.

5 BookFish have won the End of Year Bowling party. We have three months left to Dive into a Good Book!! Keep up the AR tests and find treasures galore!!

Raffle emails with unique family links went out yesterday and paper tickets went home with the oldest child in each family today. Our 1st of 4 Early Bird Drawings on Fridays for 2 people to win $100 each is Friday, Feb 7th at 1pm. You must purchase tickets before noon on the drawing date to be included in the drawing. If your ticket is drawn, you will win $100 and your ticket will be placed back in the raffle for all future drawings!!

Paper tickets are also accepted by sending into the office. Online ticket sales will close at 12 noon CST on March 7, 2025.

It's a tight race as we have been collecting money this week and putting it in teacher's jars. The person with the most money will have to lay a smooch on a pig next week. Money collected will go to the Pregnancy Care Center in Belleville!

We kindly remind you to please keep your students home if they are have a fever or experiencing cold-like systems. Tis the season...! Thank you, everyone!

Families, please know that re-enrollment for the 25-26 school year is open. We highly encourage you to re-enroll your child as soon as possible for two main reasons:

1. Having an accurate # of students who will be returning next year to HCS allows us to properly budget with confidence as well plan our financial future.

2. (And this is more for a PreK and lower level grades) Because of the positivity and success of our PREK, our lower grade enrollments fill up fast. We already have 20 families wait-listed for our PreK program. I will open up those enrollments to waitlisted families on MARCH 1.

Tuition Rates for 25-26 will be released in next week's newsletter.

HCS Apache 8th Grade Volleyball Tournament begins next week; come out and support our players!

1. ALL 5/6 Grade girls will have a dress down day next week on Tuesday, February 4.

2. ALL 7/8 Grade girls will ........ McDonald's on Friday, February 7.

Great job, everyone! The main office was told that our turnout was amazing and that the families were kind and respectful.
